Thanks to all who attended the 2019 TISBUS annual general meeting on 24 July at Hinton Hall.
The event was well attended by enthusiastic TISBUS members who were kept up to date on what is going on behind the scenes at TISBUS and what the future holds. The new chairman Gordon Sorensen acknowledged former chairman James Scott-Clarke’s significant contribution to TISBUS during his seven year tenure and outgoing secretary Don McLaren was thanked by the board and members for his heroic nine years of service in that role. New trustees Martin Ryan (treasurer), Anne Ralphs (secretary) and Chris Ewin were voted in and welcomed by all.
TISBUS is in the good hands of a dedicated and professional group of trustees and is a financially stable and well-run charity which will continue to serve its 350 members and the wider Tisbury and surrounding area for the foreseeable future.
