TISBUS members storm the beaches

Three minibus loads of TISBUS members had a blast on their long-awaited day out to sunny Swanage in August, the first in the exciting schedule of 2021 member outings. Expertly ushered to their destination and home again by volunteer TISBUS drivers Steven Beaumont, Susie Ladbrook and Ros Russell, there was no stopping these intrepid TISBUS members!

Frequent flyer Raymond Tuffin of Tuckingmill said “After such a long time in captivity in our homes it was time to let our hair down. We set off on the train from Corfe Castle to Swanage, had a lovely lunch, paddled in the sea and even had an ice cream. Everyone was so happy. We had a wonderful day.” The only problems reported were some hairdos being disturbed by open windows on the steam train ride and several members over-indulging on the seaside fish and chips.
